The cloth
Woven by Vitale Barberis Canonico in Pratrivero, in Italy's Biella wool district. The mill has been weaving since 1663 and is run by the same family, now in its 13th generation. Our suits use its Perennial cloth: Super 110's, 100% merino wool.
Our tailors
A family workshop making bespoke suits since 1951, now in its third generation: over 70 years of craftsmanship. Master tailors cut and sew each suit to your measurements and finish the details by hand.

What's included in the price?
A two-piece suit (jacket and trousers) made to your measurements, getting measured (with a partner tailor or our guided steps at home), and delivery to your door. You can add a matching vest for $150, or a full-canvas jacket for $50 more.
How long does it take?
Your suit arrives about 4 weeks (28 days) after you finalize. That's an estimate, so the sooner you're measured, the sooner it arrives. Your account shows your estimated delivery date.
Can I return my suit or get a refund?
Because every suit is cut and sewn for you alone, orders can't be refunded, returned or exchanged once you confirm them, even before you finalize. Until you finalize, you can still change your design and measurements, so nothing is made until it's how you want it. If something about the fit isn't right when it arrives, our support team will help.
Do the colors on screen match the real fabric?
Cloth pictures are Vitale Barberis Canonico's own swatch photographs, used as placeholders until we photograph our own cloth. Our suit pictures lay that photograph onto a real photograph of a suit, and the style details are our own drawings. No screen shows a color exactly, so treat what you see as close rather than exact. If you'd like to see and feel a cloth first, ask our support team for a physical swatch before you order.
